Tourmaline Engagement Ring with Diamond accents in 14k yellow Gold Art Deco Setting. Three Rare, Natural Rectangle Fancy Cut 3.75 total carats Rubelite Tourmaline Stones flanked by eight round cut genuine diamonds that are about 0.04 Cttw.

The three Natural Tourmaline Stones have some natural inclusions typical of natural stones and are visible under magnification and they are in nice condition with one having small abrasions only seen under magnification as well.

Tourmaline, along with Opal are the birthstone for October.

One of the most desirable of all tourmaline varieties, rubellite is the pink to red variety of elbaite tourmaline, but crystals may also include brownish, orangey or purplish hues. Stones that exhibit pure red or slightly purplish red color are considered the most valuable. With the exception of ruby and red spinel, rubellite is the only other gem known to occur in such a rich, dark red color. Incredibly scarce, with 'eye clean' material even rarer, rubellite is one of those special gems that demands a place in your gemstone collection!

Ring weighs 4.2 grams of solid 14k yellow gold (stamped and tested). Hallmark inside the band is Thailand which is known as the color gemstone capital of the world.

It is currently sized as a 6, but can be resized by my jeweler for a small fee of $40.
