Antique early Art Deco period Diamond Engagement Ring in Platinum and white gold.

This is an antique engagement ring featuring 14 Old Mine Cut genuine diamonds. This ring is perfect for someone who adores genuine antique styles of jewelry from the Art Deco, Victorian Era, Edwardian and Aesthetic periods.
The unique hand made setting is a beautifully designed example this period with great lines and propositions along with the popular milgrain and ribbon motif.

The fine round center diamond measures 4.2 in diameter and 2.8mm deep and is 0.31 carats with a characteristic high table and large cutlet seen with mine cut diamonds (calculated based on measurements). The clarity of the diamond is superb in the S1 range with color approximately in the range of I/J. The open cutlet allows light to move about the stone!
There are thirteen small adjacent diamonds in the halo and ribbon with similar color and clarity that measure in a range of 3.25mm diameter 2.0mm that add another .69 carats. Total diamond carat weight equals approximately 1.0 total carats.

Currently the band is a size 9.25, but could be sized up or down by my jeweler for an additional $40 if desired.

The ring weighs 4.8 grams and the face is platinum and the band is marked and tested 14k white gold.
